Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a forward-thinking Pupil Referral Service (PRS) in Leicester, supporting their search for a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a long-term position starting this autumn term.
From September the PRU will be based on one site in Leicester and provides crucial educational support for young people from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, many of whom have experienced barriers to learning due to social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a maths specialist who is passionate about inclusion and ready to make a lasting difference in the lives of some of the borough's most vulnerable students.
About the Role
As a Maths Teacher in this PRS, you will play a key role in developing pupils' numeracy skills, preparing them for GCSE Maths and other Key Stage 4 qualifications. In addition to traditional curriculum content, you will also deliver practical, real-world maths education - including financial literacy, budgeting, and managing income as an adult - helping students build skills that are essential for independence and future success.
You'll be teaching smaller class sizes in a highly supportive environment, where strong relationships, consistency, and compassion are the foundations of progress.
