Job summary

Job Title: SEMH Learning Support Assistant All Boys SEN School (SEMH & ASC)
Location: RH17 Haywards Heath
Driving Required

Pay scale: GBP89.05 - GBP95 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm

About the School:

Nestled in beautiful grounds that resemble an old manor house, this specialist all-boys school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). Many of the students have experienced complex trauma, which can lead to challenging behaviours.

Despite the challenges, the school offers a nurturing, therapeutic environment with small class sizes (no more than 8 pupils) and a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and emotional development.

Who We re Looking For:

We re seeking resilient, compassionate, and proactive individuals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people. Ideal candidates may have experience in:

  • SEN education, youth work, or social care
  • Mentoring or behavior support roles
  • Sporty individuals the school boasts excellent outdoor and sports facilities

A full UK driving license is essential due to the school s location
