This specialist school in Harlesden (NW10) is seeking a SEMH Learning Support Assistant with experience working with challenging children and young people. The school is a specialist Alternative Provision catering to students who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools.
The successful SEMH Learning Support Assistant will have the opportunity to work at an outstanding school renowned for its expertise in special education, curriculum, and resources.
Applicants must have experience working with students with mental health issues and complex SEN needs. The school is committed to providing a safe, stable, and supportive learning environment for all young people.
The role involves working with secondary-aged pupils with SEMD, SEBD, and challenging behaviour, ranging from KS2 to KS4. Personalised education plans are used to support student success.
