Job summary

Pertemps Education Network in Bracknell is recruiting a Behaviour Mentor / Pastoral and Learning Support Assistant. Start ASAP. The role is full-time, term-time only, with a daily pay between £88 and £115. You will support SEMH students aged 10–16, delivering targeted interventions alongside teachers and therapists.

Our graduates in Psychology, Criminology or Sociology, or those pursuing careers in probation or mental health, are encouraged to apply. On-site training and CPD are provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with disengaged students or those at risk of exclusion.
• Support social and emotional development through restorative approaches.
• Promote engagement, attendance and confidence in learning.
• Work with teachers and therapists to deliver targeted interventions.
• Provide stability and consistency for students who have ACEs.
• Model empathy, respect and resilience every day.
