We are looking for resilient individuals-from Psychology graduates to ex-Sports Coaches want to gain high-level experience in a specialist SEN (Special Educational Needs) environment.

Career Progression: Perfect for those seeking hours for a Doctorate in Educational Psychology or a PGCE. Specialist CPD (2026): Gain certified training in Trauma-Informed Practice, Team-Teach (De-escalation), and Mental Health First Aid.

Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates (£90 - £95) paid via Randstad with no "umbrella company" hidden fees.

The Role: Mentoring with Purpose In this full-time role, you will act as a 1:1 specialist for students with ADHD, ASD, and Attachment Disorders.

Build Therapeutic Alliances: Use a "Relational Approach" to build trust with students who have disengaged from learning.

Behaviour Intervention: Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and help pupils manage emotional triggers.

Small Group Support: Facilitate "Nurture Groups" focusing on social skills, resilience, and emotional literacy.

Progress Tracking: Maintain detailed logs on student engagement to support EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) reviews.

Essential Requirements To be successful in this SEN Mentor role, you should possess: Education/Experience: A degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Criminology OR 1 years of experience in Youth Work/Social Care.

Resilience: The ability to handle challenging verbal and physical behaviours with a calm, non-judgemental "can-do" attitude.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with parents, teachers, and external healthcare professionals.
