Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to support students in SEMH specialist schools across South Shields from September. You will work alongside teaching and pastoral teams to help pupils build confidence, resilience and positive coping strategies in a structured environment.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with start times around 8:30am and a 4pm-4:30pm finish depending on the day.

We're recruiting Behaviour Mentors to work in specialist SEMH schools across South Shields from September.

Working alongside experienced teaching and pastoral teams, you'll support pupils who may have experienced trauma, adverse childhood experiences or barriers to education. Your role will focus on helping young people develop confidence, resilience and positive coping strategies in a structured and nurturing environment.

• 8:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-4:30pm
• Term-time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
