Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Semantic Governance Managing Consultant to define and govern enterprise semantic assets, including ontologies, vocabularies and data contracts. You will lead semantic initiatives, drive interoperability across sites and platforms, and mentor teams to advance Capgemini's semantic data management capability.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, deliver Knowledge Graph solutions, and contribute to AI-enabled semantic ecosystems within a hybrid UK setting.

• Experience leading enterprise semantic initiatives across large organizations.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and facilitate consensus between business and tech teams.
• Proven track record delivering Knowledge Graph solutions and semantic data models at scale.
• Mentoring teams and growing Capgemini's semantic data management capability.

Responsibilities

• Define, govern and industrialise enterprise semantic assets (ontologies, vocabularies, glossaries).
• Design reusable semantic models to support Knowledge Graph and Data Contract initiatives.
• Lead ontology lifecycle, metadata management and governance frameworks.
• Drive semantic interoperability across systems, platforms and domains.
• Facilitate workshops with business SMEs and governance stakeholders to align terminology.
• Support enterprise semantic architectures across modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Collaborate with data engineers, solution architects and governance teams for enterprise-wide reuse.
• Provide thought leadership in semantic technologies and AI-enabled semantic ecosystems.
