Most deliveries will be long distance with an average of 200 miles. • Documentation: Ensure proper documentation is completed for each vehicle you transport, including delivery confirmations, vehicle condition reports, and any required paperwork.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients, such as dealerships or fleet management companies, to confirm job details and provide updates on delivery status.
  • Vehicle Handling: Handle vehicles carefully to avoid damage during loading, unloading, and driving.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to various driving routes and schedules depending on client needs, while managing your time effectively.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Driving License: A full, clean driving license (typically Category B for cars, or Category C for larger vehicles if required).
  • Trade Plate Authorization: Knowledge and ability to use trade plates legally.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a driver, ideally in the vehicle transportation or trade plate driving industry, is preferred.
  • Vehicle Knowledge: Basic knowledge of vehicles and their operation.
  • Time Management: Strong ability to manage your schedule independently and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve when necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Good interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and handle any issues that may arise during the transportation process.

  • Ability to drive for extended periods.
