Job summary

Able Group is seeking pest controllers to join our reactive team on a self-employed/contracting basis. You will cover pest control tasks, travel to sites, and provide quotes and solutions to customers. Must have field qualifications and a professional approach to safety and service.

Ideal candidates will have RSPH Level 2 (or equivalent), BPCA/NPTA membership, and COSHH experience. Own transport and flexibility for after-hours work are preferred to meet estate and property maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• BPCA/NPTA membership beneficial.
• COSHH risk assessment qualification preferred.

• Carry out pest control tasks on reactive jobs.

Due to high demand Able Group are currently looking for pest controllers to join our fast-paced working team to cover reactive work for us on a self-employed/contracting basis. You will need to:

• Have qualifications in RSPH Level 2 or Equivalent, hold a BPCA/NPTA membership and be able to fill out COSSH risk assessment
• Carry sufficient stock to be able to complete most of the basic replace/refit works,
• Provide quotes and alternative solutions on jobs when required
• Be willing to cover emergency/time-sensitive works during normal working hours as well as evenings and weekends
• Be confident in able resolve issues in a quickly and time efficient manner
• Have access to your own works vehicle to travel to and from job,
• Act in a polite and professional manner,
• Be clean and tidy on all works
• Not only do we operate a service for domestic customers, but we also work closely with Estate Agents, Housing Associations and Facility/Property Management, for their everyday property maintenance needs
• Health and Safety Qualification,
• Risk Assessment Qualification (preferred not essential)
