Leicestershire County Council Shared Lives Service seeks a self-employed Personal Assistant to support a client with independence in daily life. The role involves personal care, feeding, housekeeping and mobility assistance within the home.

The candidate should be reliable, patient and respectful, with good communication and the ability to maintain privacy and dignity. DBS clearance funded by the authority is available; interviews will determine suitability.

Formación

• Self-employed/Shared Lives carer status understood and accepted.
• DBS check funded by funding authority upon appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal care and monitoring skin integrity, including transfers if needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and daily living tasks (housekeeping, laundry, bed making).
• Support with mobility and transfers using equipment as available (transfer board, planned hoist).
• Provide companionship and support while ensuring client privacy, dignity and safety.
