A Personal Support Assistant is needed to assist a young woman in Clifton-On-Teme. The role requires providing support with daily living tasks, personal care, and social activities. Ideal candidates should have experience with physical and learning disabilities, be trained in Manual Handling, and possess excellent communication skills. The position offers 14 hours of work per week at £15 per hour.

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the
person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is a 23-year-old female living with their family in the Clifton-On-Teme area of Worcestershire who is looking to recruit a Self-Employed Personal Assistant to provide support with daily living tasks.
Main duties:
Social duties:
Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
Support to access the local community
Arrange community outings and planning activities
Personal care: Support with showering, teeth cleaning and dressing.
Domestic duties: Support with changing linen and some support maybe required with food & drink.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Hours of work: 14 hours per week – Days & times to be discussed
Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour

Essential:
Previous experience
Trained in Manual Handling
Trained in Infection Prevention & Control
Must have fluent and clear English language

Good at building relationships
Good communicator
A good listener
Ability to support people with complex support needs.
Preferred:
Driving licence
Car and appropriate insurance
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
