Job summary

A Personal Support Assistant is needed to assist a young woman in Clifton-On-Teme. The role requires providing support with daily living tasks, personal care, and social activities. Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Reporting to: The Employer

Location: Clifton-On-Teme, Worcester WR6

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the
person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:
Our client is a 23-year-old female living with their family in the Clifton-On-Teme area of Worcestershire who is looking to recruit a Self-Employed Personal Assistant to provide support with daily living tasks.

Main duties:
Social duties:
Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
Support to access the local community
Arrange community outings and planning activities

Personal care: Support with showering, teeth cleaning and dressing.

Domestic duties: Support with changing linen and some support maybe required with food & drink.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Specific requirements: Have previous experience of working with individuals with physical and learning disabilities. Trained in Manual Handling. Trained in Infection Prevention & Control. Must be creative, motivation, fun and kind-hearted.

Other: Due to the nature of this role including personal care the potential employer will be considering female applicants only.

Hours of work: 14 hours per week – Days & times to be discussed

Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
