An individual in Bromsgrove is seeking a Self-Employed Personal Assistant to assist with social and personal care activities. The PA will support leisure activities and transportation to the client's day center. Candidates must be reliable, patient, and able to swim. The role offers 4 hours of work each week at a pay rate of £15 per hour.

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is a 28-year-old female living in the Bromsgrove area of Worcestershire who is looking to recruit a Self-Employed Personal Assistant to provide support with community leisure activities and support traveling to a day centre our client attends.
Our client has ASD and complex learning difficulties.
Our client expresses herself verbally and has had a wide range of life experiences. Our client is generally friendly and sociable but can display challenging behaviour if her needs are not met or she is anxious or upset about something. Our client needs the exercise sessions to lose weight and then maintain a healthy weight and level of fitness.
Main duties:
Social duties:
Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
Attend Reddisupport day centre
Support with exercise sessions such as swimming and walking
Personal care: support with personal care after swimming.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Hours of work: 4 hours per week –
07:45am – 09:45am Wednesday & Friday
Rate of pay: £15 per hour
Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
Driving licence
Car and appropriate insurance
Previous support worker experience
Able to swim
Good at building relationships
Good communicator
A good listener
Ability to support people with complex support needs.
Successful applicants will be required to provide a Enhanced DBS check & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
