Self-Employed Mortgage Broker Position

Join a reputable firm with over 20 years of experience in mortgage and protection advice, serving thousands of customers annually. The firm offers a comprehensive range of market-wide mortgage products, focusing on meeting client needs rather than just offering the lowest rates.

This is a self-employed role providing significant independence and flexibility. You will represent a well-respected company with a national presence and extensive resources. The position is fully remote, covering regions from Scotland to Watford, where the office is based. There are no fixed targets, allowing you to set your own goals with support from Oak Finance.

Applicants should have an existing client base to bring to the role. This is a key requirement for success in this position.

Role Overview

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their financial situation, discuss mortgage needs, and provide tailored advice.
• Mortgage Product Selection: Research and evaluate mortgage options from various lenders to find suitable solutions for clients.
• Application Assistance: Help clients complete applications, gather documentation, and liaise with lenders to secure approvals.
• Financial Assessment: Conduct assessments of borrowing capacity, affordability, and eligibility, offering guidance on budgeting and credit management.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and stay updated on industry changes.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and follow-up.

Must have a client bank and generate own leads; a consistent flow of work is essential.

Requirements

• CeMap qualification preferred
• At least 3 years of experience as a mortgage broker
• No extensive training needed
• UK citizen with a valid UK visa
• Existing client bank and ability to generate leads independently

Remuneration
