The Pub

The Wellington is a premium community pub with a prominent position on Theobold Street, Borehamwood. Just a two-minute walk from the high street and Elstree and Borehamwood train station. The pub seats 60 comfortably with big screen TVs throughout and has a dining area which seats 36. There is a heated courtyard with space for 50 seated and event space in The Stables.

Operator

• You have a proven track record of delivering an inspiring offer with team buy in. And, of course, know your way around and be able to explain the numbers
• You have a passion for food, drink, atmosphere. All the good things that make us love the pub
• You look after and develop your team. They don't want to work for anyone else and this shows in service delivery and knowledge of your offer
• You recruit in your own image. No one knows how to deliver what you want better than you do, but you can teach it
• You will show entrepreneurship and have a planned approach to events and entertainment offer
• You will have at least 3 years experience at GM level or equivalent with a background in a fresh food offer

Above all, you'll service the community and locals.

The pub boasts a comfortable 1st floor apartment with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and bathroom.

Borehamwood is an increasingly popular town for families and city professionals alike, commuting into London. Although only 25 minutes from Kings Cross St Pancras by train, this south Hertfordshire town has a suburban atmosphere with quiet residential streets, attractive starter properties and newly built apartments. Not far from Watford, it retains a strong community feel despite its burgeoning population, with plenty of shops and cafes on the high street, good schools and a lively local nightlife.
