Job summary

NYAS seeks self-employed Independent Visitors to support voices of children and vulnerable adults across England, with focus in Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Bedfordshire. You will undertake visits to residential settings and report findings to NYAS managers.

Candidates should have professional qualifications in social work or advocacy, experience in safeguarding, and be comfortable building relationships with inspectors, social workers and care staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in social or health care organisations.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and duties toward children and adults at risk.

Responsibilities

• Undertake monthly visits to identified settings in line with NYAS manager instructions.
• Provide factual reports within set timescales to NYAS manager.
