Job summary

Badger Group is seeking experienced General Practitioners (GPs) to join our urgent primary care Out of Hours workforce across Birmingham and Solihull. This self-employed role offers sessions in evenings, weekends and overnights with flexible, varied clinical settings and a multidisciplinary team.

You will work autonomously to assess and manage undifferentiated conditions, using telephone, in-person, and home-visit care, while maintaining GMC registration and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• GMC registration in good standing.
• Holds a recognised GP qualification and has completed CCT.
• Registered on the GMC GP Register and NHS England performers list.
• Satisfactory DBS clearance.
• Annual appraisal within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, examine, diagnose and treat patients of all ages in urgent primary care.
• Deliver care via telephone consultations, face-to-face appointments and home visits.
• Prescribe safely and make autonomous clinical decisions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and uphold Badger’s values, including EDI policies.
