Job summary

Prestige Skills is seeking a qualified gas engineer to join our expanding team on a sub-contract basis in the Doncaster area. You will service gas meters, exchange and repair components, and perform safety checks for customers. You must own a van and tools and hold CCN1, CMA1 and MET1 qualifications.

The role emphasises customer service, teamwork, and compliance with HSE guidelines, with responsibilities including meter relocation and visual appliance inspections.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CMA1 and MET1 qualifications required.
• Must have own van and tools.
• Experience in a similar role with customer-facing duties.

Responsibilities

• Attend faulty gas meters for exchange, installation or repair.

About the Role

The role will be, working as a metering engineer attending faulty gas meters which would need exchanging, installing or repairing. You will be expected to carry out a number of tasks which include visual inspections of gas appliances, standing and working pressure checks and, alteration of meter locations. The role is fully customer focused, carrying out essential works driven by the HSE.
