Job summary

Prestige Skills is seeking a Qualified Gas Engineer to join our expanding subcontracting team. You will work with Prestige Skills and our clients, delivering professional meter services on a mobile basis across sites.

Role involves attending faulty gas meters, exchanging, installing or repairing, with a strong emphasis on safety, HSE compliance and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• CCN1/CMA1/MET1 qualifications required.
• Must have own van and tools.
• Experience in a similar gas engineering role preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Attend faulty gas meters for exchange, installation or repair.
• Perform visual inspections of gas appliances and safety checks.
• Carry out meter location alterations and pressure checks, aligned with HSE standards.

About the Role

The role will be working as a metering engineer attending faulty gas meters which need exchanging, installing or repairing. You will be expected to carry out a number of tasks which include visual inspections of gas appliances, standing and working pressure checks and alteration of meter locations. The role is fully customer focused, carrying out essential works driven by the HSE.
