Job summary

Comex 2000 UK Ltd in Colchester seeks Self Employed FTTH Engineers to install and maintain Full Fibre networks on the Openreach infrastructure, serving residential and small business customers. You will manage end-to-end fibre installation, including overhead routes and underground ducts, ensuring service quality and safety while coordinating with customers and field teams.

Qualifications

• NRSWA SLG and PIA Accreditations up to date at application time.
• Experience with both overhead and underground PIA networks.
• Additional accreditations such as SA001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, K008 are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end installation and maintenance of telecom services on Full Fibre networks.
• Install new services by running overhead lines on poles and subducting ducts underground.
• Visit customer sites to set up internal cabling and ensure service works correctly.
• Follow safety procedures and keep locations clean and safe for customers.
• Record work details in company systems promptly.
