Job summary

Comex-2000 seeks self-employed FTTH engineers to install and maintain telecom services on the Openreach network, serving residential and business customers. You will handle full installation and end-to-end solutions across full fibre networks.

Applicants must hold in-date safety certs and have practical telecom skills, power tool proficiency, and the ability to use job management apps. CIS payments are applicable and safety is a priority.

Responsibilities

• Network Build-outs: Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles and subducting ducts underground, with hands-on work.
• Customer installations: Visit homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and ensure services work correctly.
• Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures—ducts and poles.
• Quality & Safety: Follow strict safety procedures and ensure equipment is safe to use; restore sites after work.
• Reporting & Admin: Use our systems to record work and keep information up to date.

This role falls under theConstruction Industry Scheme (CIS)

We are looking forSelf Employed FTTH (Fibre to theHome) Engineers to work on the Openreach network with both residential andbusiness customers, handling the full installation and maintenance of telecomservices. You’ll work across Full Fibre networks, delivering end-to-endsolutions.

About you

• TechnicalSkills:Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks,proficiency with power tools and basic IT skills for using mobile jobmanagement apps.


• Communication& Customer Care:Excellent communication skills and aprofessional approach when dealing with customers, the public, andstakeholders.
