Self Employed Female Support Worker Required - Maidstone - ME15

Self Employed Support Worker Required (FEMALE ONLY)

This role needs a person who can fluently speak and understand English as the role involves acting/speaking on my behalf when required.

Hours: 10hrs over two days.

Shift: two days per week (5hrs per shift)

Job Description for the Support Worker Role:

To support me to attend social activities as required – assisting me in participating in various social activities as per my instructions, including going to the cinema, bowling, playing pool, going to places of interest, going shopping, attending classes, sporting activities, meeting friends, attending craft shows and events, including markets.

  • As my support worker, your role is to provide me with the help and support that I need in the community to attend and participate in social activities.
  • You will need to be a car driver and have knowledge of using a computer to carry out the support needed in the role effectively.
  • Preferably a non-smoker.
  • You must have training or experience in working with Autism.
  • You must be flexible and able to change days at short notice.
  • Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy, friendly, patient, and understanding, willing to take the time to learn how to effectively offer support.
You Will Need for the Support Worker Role:
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Public Liability insurance
  • Be registered with HMRC
  • Be able to supply me with a monthly invoice.
