We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Seismic Data Processor to join a dynamic team. This is a full-time, remote position, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge geophysical projects in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in geophysical data processing, velocity model building, and imaging, while also contributing to mentoring junior team members and collaborating across departments.
– Process and analyze geophysical data to deliver high-quality results for clients.
– Ensure stringent QA/QC standards are maintained throughout all projects.
– Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Management teams to design innovative solutions.
– Mentor and guide junior geophysicists, fostering their professional growth.
– Develop and implement advanced methodologies to address client-specific challenges.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows and processes.
Candidate Requirements:
– Proficiency in Geophysical Data Processing, Velocity Model Building (including FWI), and Imaging.
– Hands-on experience with Dug Insight and/or Shearwater Reveal is essential.
– Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining a collaborative approach.
– Experience with on-shore and off-shore seismic projects is advantageous, with a focus on marine processing.
– A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Geophysics, Geology, Physics, Maths, or a related field.
Responsibilities include:
– Engage in the processing and interpretation of seismic data to support client projects.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
– Innovate and refine workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
