Job summary

South Tyneside Council is recruiting for See and Solve Trusted Assessor (Adult Social Care, Community Equipment – Independent Living). The role involves working with Social Care, Health and other professionals to assess equipment needs and provide immediate equipment solutions to support independence.

You will contribute to delivering personalised equipment support, helping residents to live healthier, more independent lives while upholding safeguarding standards.

Our community equipment service offers a range of equipment support for people with social care and health needs. The approach used by the service puts more focus on supporting people to remain independent and to live better lives. These may include people with a learning disability, autism, older people and people with physical and mental disabilities

The role of the see and solve trusted assessor will require collaborative working with Social Care, Health and other professionals and colleagues, delivering individualised equipment support based on what each person needs, with delivering direct equipment solutions there and then where possible to support and maximise independence.
