A health service provider in Brighton is seeking a skilled professional to join the Sussex Eating Disorder Services leadership team. The successful candidate will oversee staff management, contribute to service development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Ideal applicants will hold a mental health qualification, possess strong leadership skills, and have experience managing teams in the mental health field.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to come and join our team of compassionate, supportive and skilled clinicians within the Sussex Eating Disorder Services (SEDS) dedicated to improving lives for those living with an eating disorder.
Our vision is to provide the best care possible for those with eating disorders whilst ensuring our team members receive the support, supervision and skills development they need to grow in their roles. There is in-house training and supervision for recommended interventions for eating disorders.
SEDS (Sussex Eating Disorders Services) cover Sussex and main base is in Brighton where team meetings and training are held but the service also operates virtually. Flexible working arrangements are supported in line with service need. The role does not include a clinical caseload but would support clinical practice if relevant for CPD.
SPFT are committed to supporting staff well-being and developing new roles in teams. The trust is committed to strong integrated, collaborative leadership between managers and clinicians.
Successful candidates will have a health or social care related professional qualification (such as social worker, OT, psychological therapist, nurse) and proven experience of working within the field of Mental Health and ideally eating disorders with a genuine interest in working with people with eating disorder presentations. You would ideally have experience of managing teams or have acted up in team leader roles. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be computer IT literate and be willing and able to travel as required.
