Introduction
The Parliamentary Security Department (PSD) is responsible for physical and personnel security across both Houses of Parliament and provides support to Members and staff when away from the Estate.
The Security Vetting and Pass Office team is a team of around 40 who undertake various security checks to mitigate the risk to parliament of insiders.
The Role
The Security Vetting Technology Lead is a new role created to provide internal support on all the technical systems used by the vetting team.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a technical background, for example someone who is comfortable interrogating the back end of platforms such as Dynamics 365 and creating dashboards in Power BI, but has experience of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will also help us maximise opportunities from our new digital systems related to developing and improving reporting functions including the creation of MI dashboards for senior management, as well as maintaining data integrity of our databases
