Security Vetting Analyst

Salary: £14.00 per hour (Living Wage Employer)

Location: Inverness Retail Park

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full time/Hybrid - Monday to Friday

Manpower has a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become a Security Vetting Analyst, working with our client, Capgemini.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Personnel Security Vetting Analyst. The successful applicant will join the Personnel Security Vetting Operations team responsible for processing personnel security background checks on staff working for the organization.

The Personnel Security Vetting function manages end-to-end personnel security measures to mitigate the rising risk of insider threat to the organization and its clients. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment involving engagement with applicants and key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting security vetting and clearance processes for employees and contractors
  2. Managing ongoing security clearance reviews for existing employees and contractors
  3. Analyzing security clearance investigation reports and making recommendations to management
  4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date security clearance records and documentation
  5. Collaborating with internal teams and government agencies to ensure compliance with security clearance policies and procedures
  6. Staying up to date with relevant laws and regulations related to security vetting and clearance processes
Requirements:
  • The successful candidate will need to undertake UK Government National Security Vetting at SC level.
  • Police vetting at a minimum of NPPV2/CTC level is desirable.
  • Experience in conducting detailed administrative processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service to relevant stakeholders.
  • Interest in relevant laws and regulations related to security clearance processes (full training provided).
