Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a proactive Team Leader to manage a Security Operations team supporting the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority on an NDA site. The role operates on a 4-on, 4-off day pattern, requiring hands-on leadership and active deployment within the rota.

You will lead officers, run daily briefings, manage resources, and coach staff to high performance while maintaining compliance with security standards.

About The Role

We are seeking a professional, motivated, and proactive Team Leader to join our Security Operations team supporting the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will be responsible for leading a team of Security Officers while remaining operationally deployed within the rota. The successful candidate will provide day‑to‑day supervision, support operational delivery, maintain compliance standards, and lead by example whilst undertaking security duties.

Working a 4-on, 4-off day shift pattern, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and integrity of a high‑profile Critical National Infrastructure environment.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role may require travel between operational areas, conducting site patrols, supporting incident response activities, and providing operational resilience across the contract.

• Lead by example at all times, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and commitment to operational excellence.
