Qualifications

Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Security Team Leader for our client a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.

Staffline is recruiting for a Security Team Leader to work in Weybridge.

The rate of pay is £13.91 per hour.

The successful candidate will need to have over 1 years experience in Security.

You will also need to hold a valid SIA.

The shift pattern is working 2 days, 2 nights and then 4 off. This will be contracted to 42 hours a week.

Your Time at Work

You will have the following responsibilities:

- Security Officer Function and assistance with the Day to day running of the site control room
operation.
- Day to day completion of activity logging, including incident reports, equipment faults and
D.O.B.
- Answering any incoming calls and giving advice/escalation as required.
- Input into Security Equipment Fault register ensuring outstanding items are repaired or
escalated where appropriate.
- Issuing of site keys and completing the relevant logs
- Control Room Coordination of site incidents. Reporting and closing of incidents.
- Ensuring Health & Safety issues are logged and reported.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

Other key requirements:

- Good literacy and communication skills and have good verbal and written English.
- Possess an excellent telephone manner.
- Be computer literate.
- Be able to prioritise tasks and be calm under pressure.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- A consistently smart appearance.
- Reliability, self-motivation, and ability to use own initiative and work without supervision.
- The ability to transfer self-motivation to staff.
- The ability, tact and diplomacy to deal with people including the client, the client's staff and
visitors, in all circumstances including emergencies and other times of stress.
- The ability to take control of an emergency at least until the Control Room/Lead Officer
arrives.

Previous Team Leader experience is desirable.

Officers must have Security Industry Training basic qualification and Security Industry
Authority (SIA) Licence required.

You must also be able to use all security equipment necessary to efficiently perform the duties required of a professional security officer. For example, radios, fire safety equipment, access control
computer, alarms, & CCTV.
