Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Alarm Service Engineer to cover Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas. You will install, service and commission a broad range of commercial security systems including CCTV, access control, intruder, and fire alarms, with travel across the Midlands/North West.

The role requires a minimum of three years in the security industry, excellent communication skills, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

At least 3 years experience in the electronic security industry.
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
ECS/CSCS, IPAF or PASMA qualifications preferred alongside security/electrical/fire alarm qualifications.

Responsibilities

Install new security systems and system upgrades across commercial/industrial sites.
Carry out preventative maintenance and fault finding on CCTV, access control, intruder, fire alarm and related systems.
Commission new and existing systems including programming and configuring equipment; document modifications.
Test completed works and ensure systems operate correctly; complete accurate job records and service reports.
Communicate professionally with customers, site contacts and other contractors, managing jobs from arrival to completion.
