Job summary

Johnson Controls UK is seeking a Systems Engineer to deliver engineering services across CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems. You will own maintenance activities, planned and preventative tasks, and respond to technical call-outs while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The role requires proactive, independent work and the ability to travel, with on-call responsibilities for 24/7 support.

Qualifications

Strong experience in integrated enterprise-level systems, including CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
Hands-on experience with Genetec, Gallagher, Milestone, FLIR Latitude, ProWatch and Commend.
Experience with high-end CCTV cameras (Bosch, Axis) and overall surveillance integration.
Experience with Grade 3 intruder alarm installations (Galaxy, Texecom).
Familiarity with Senstar Omnitrax/Fibre Patrol and fibre optic systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver system requirements and solutions with customers and project management teams.
Manage system maintenance tasks and monitor installed systems and infrastructure.
Ensure solutions and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
Complete project and service documentation to meet timelines and standards.
Adhere to Johnson Controls procedures and Health & Safety policies.
Coordinate between internal teams and customers for seamless delivery.
Provide 24/7 engineering support during on-call rota.
