Job summary

AWC STAFF SERVICES LTD is seeking a Security Engineer to service National Grid Gas sites across the country. You will diagnose faults, install bespoke security alarms and perform planned maintenance on a range of security systems.

The role requires experience with access control or CCTV (or similar) and Gallagher systems. You will travel to sites nationwide with a focus on high-quality service delivery and client demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Complete understanding of at least one of: access control, CCTV, intruder, power fence.
• Experience with Gallagher security systems (access control or perimeter).
• Experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Fault diagnosis on electrical fence, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Installation of bespoke security alarms.
• Planned preventive maintenance on bespoke security systems.
• Detecting and reporting defects, snags and complaints.
• Responsible for van stock, replenishment and stock taking.
• Demonstrate completed work to clients and end users.
