Job summary

AWC Staff Services, recruiting on behalf of a major Cyber Security provider for the National Grid, seeks a Project Engineer for a permanent role in Scotland. The position involves engaging with the design team, producing RAMS, coordinating site surveys and data capture, and supporting commercial planning.

The ideal candidate has CCTV/security systems experience, electrical qualifications, and familiarity with PID systems. Start ASAP; salary £40,000–£50,000 per annum DOE; permanent role.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications.
• Good understanding of PID systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the design team and assist with input to the detailed design process.
• Produce, review and issue RAMS and safety document requests.
• Arrange site surveys with clients and ensure data is captured.
• Support contracts manager/planner with commercial input and planning.
• Raise RFIs/TQs to ensure specifications compliance.
• Attend design review, site progress, coordination and integration meetings.
• Monitor construction progress and report to contracts manager/planner.

AWC Staff Services are looking for a Project Engineer on behalf of our client - a major provider of Cyber Security service to the National Grid, due to new contract awards they are looking to recruit a talented Project Engineer.

Role responsibilities

• Engaging with the design team.
• Assisting with engineering input to the detailed design process.
• Producing, reviewing and issuing RAMS and associated safety document requests.
• Arranging site surveys with clients.
• Ensuring survey data is captured and recorded.
• Supporting the contracts manager/planner with commercial input and planning.
• Raising RFI's/TQ's to ensure compliance to the relevant specifications.
• Attending design review, site progress, coordination and integration meetings.
• Monitoring construction progress.
• Reporting to the contracts manager/planner for programme updates.
• Coordinating design changes during construction.
• Commissioning of integrated security systems.
• Handover of the security solution to the client.

Essential experience
