Job summary

Booker Group is hiring a Security Systems Engineer II to design, implement and support security technologies protecting our users, devices and infrastructure. You will work across endpoint, identity, cloud and on-prem security in a collaborative environment with internal teams and external partners.

You will investigate issues, improve controls and support incident response while staying current with cyber security trends.

Qualifications

• Experience engineering and supporting enterprise security technologies.
• Knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability management, identity and access management, security monitoring and Microsoft security solutions.
• Understanding of security engineering principles across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing and delivering technical changes within a structured environment.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, suppliers and managed service partners.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, risk management and data protection requirements.

As a Security Systems Engineer II, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting and enhancing security technologies that protect our users, devices, applications and infrastructure.

You'll provide hands-on engineering expertise across endpoint, identity, cloud and infrastructure security, helping to reduce risk while enabling the business to operate effectively and securely. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders, you'll investigate technical issues, improve security controls, support incident response activities and contribute to the delivery of secure technology solutions.
