Job summary

Company – Security Solutions Provider in Surrey/Berkshire is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join the team. You will install, fault-find, maintain and service Intruder Alarms and CCTV, working on on-site client sites and contributing to on-call cover.

The role requires a full UK driving license, hands-on electrical/electronic background, and strong communication skills. On offer is a competitive salary of £30k-£50k with overtime, company vehicle, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is required.
• Previous installation, fault-finding, maintenance and servicing experience in intruder alarms/CCTV.
• Technical background in electrical/electronic industry.
• Experience with Galaxy is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Install Intruder Alarms and Remote monitored CCTV systems.
• Periodic preventative maintenance.
• Reactive maintenance and fault finding on site.
• Participate in on-call rota with standby/fat premium pay.
• Provide excellent client communication and service.

Job Title – Security Systems Engineer

Location – Surrey/Berkshire

Salary – £30k - £50k (Depending on experience)

We have an new opportunity for an experienced Intruder Alarm/CCTV Engineer to join a growing business and become part of an integral team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installation, fault finding, maintenance and servicing of Intruder Alarms.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

• Installation of Intruder Alarms and Remote monitored CCTV systems
• Periodic preventative maintenance
• Reactive maintenance service calls and fault finding
• Participation in the on-call rota assisting with OOH call outs and technical support (standby fee paid and call outs paid at a premium OTE rate)

Key Requirements

• Full UK manual driving license
• Previous experience (Essential)
• Technical background in the electrical/electronic industry
• Preferred experience with Galaxy
• Flexible to travel and participate in an on-call Rota
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of working in a team as well as on your own
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with IP CCTV and Access Control systems is advantageous however not essential
• Advanced skills such as commissioning are advantageous however not essential

My client offers a competitive OTE (overtime) paid at premium rate of 1.5 x rate (Lots of overtime available), door to door travel paid and on call fee and call outs paid at x 1.5 rate

A company vehicle, fuel Card and company tablet, laptop & mobile phone will be provided along with Power tools, ladders, test equipment etc.
