Job summary

ABCA Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Service & Maintenance Engineer to carry out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and installations across warden call, access control, door entry and CCTV systems. The role is hands-on, requires working independently and delivering excellent customer service on site.

Responsibilities include planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, system installation, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining warden call, door entry and/or access control systems.
• Practical experience in installation, commissioning and system testing.
• Strong technical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
• A methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving faults.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and prioritise tasks.
• A professional attitude with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues and complete repairs efficiently to minimise system downtime.
• Install, commission and test new systems and equipment.
• Identify potential issues and recommend appropriate remedial works or system improvements.
• Respond to reactive service calls and resolve technical issues across a variety of sites.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records and relevant documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and explaining technical issues clearly.
• Manage workloads effectively, ensuring jobs are completed safely, professionally and within agreed timescales.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, health and safety, and customer service.
