Job summary

adi Fire and Security is seeking a Security Systems Technical Engineer to install, commission and deliver enterprise-level security systems across the UK. You will work with Project Managers and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

The role involves configuring platforms like Gallagher, Lenel, Genetec, Milestone and more, leading site-based installations and providing technical support to junior engineers. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Experience delivering large-scale security projects.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise-level security systems.
• Relevant technical qualifications.
• SSSTS, SMSTS or IOSH would be desirable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning and maintaining enterprise-level Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Configuring security platforms including Gallagher, Lenel, CEM, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, ISM Genesys and Cortech.
• Leading site-based installations and providing technical support to junior engineers.
• Managing on-site project activities and providing progress updates to Project Managers.
• Producing commissioning records and project documentation in line with NSI standards.
• Building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for additional works.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with H&S requirements and customer standards.
• Participating in the on-call rota as required.

About the Role

As a Security Systems Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning and delivering enterprise-level security systems. Working closely with Project Managers, customers and engineers, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
