Job summary

adi Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Security Systems Technical Engineer to install, commission and deliver enterprise-level security systems. You will work closely with Project Managers, customers and engineers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.

You will lead site-based installations, configure platforms, produce commissioning records and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the Fire & Security industry.
• Experience delivering large-scale security projects.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise-level security systems.
• SSSTS, SMSTS or IOSH would be desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
• Configure security platforms including Gallagher, Lenel, CEM, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, ISM Genesys and Cortech.
• Lead site-based installations and provide technical support to junior engineers.
• Manage on-site project activities and report progress to Project Managers.
• Produce commissioning records and NSI-standard project documentation.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional works.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety requirements and customer standards.
• Participate in the on-call rota as required.

As a Security Systems Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning and delivering enterprise-level security systems. Working closely with Project Managers, customers and engineers, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
