Duties and Responsibilities

As Security Supervisor, I will be responsible for the efficient operation of:

• Controlling, coordinating, and participating in activities of personnel securing resort properties, guests, and staff, following the instructions of the Security Manager.
• Conducting security patrols within and around the hotel.
• Coordinating activities of outsourced guards implementing safety and security procedures.
• Representing the Security Manager during shifts, handling emergency cases according to hotel policy.
• Collaborating with engineering, reception, F&B, and housekeeping to ensure guest safety.
• Recommending improvements in safety and security activities to Security Managers.
• Reviewing security reports for accuracy and completeness at the end of each shift.
• Informing the Security Manager of incidents occurring at the hotel.
• Upholding Six Senses standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Adhering to LQA standards and guest feedback.

Qualifications

To succeed as Security Supervisor, I must possess the necessary qualifications, skills, and experience in a similar luxury hotel role, including:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in hotel operations.
• Technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with security systems. Updated certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Defibrillator are required.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• SIA license.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
