Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK & I, is hiring a Security Officer on a full-time basis (36 hours per week) to safeguard healthcare facilities and people. The role emphasises excellent customer service while enforcing access control and safety protocols across NHS Trusts and private hospitals.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA license (or be eligible) and demonstrate strong communication, resilience, and a professional appearance.

Job description

We're currently recruiting a motivated Security Officer to help us ensure continual safety for Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 36 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Our ideal Security Officer will:

• Either hold a valid SIA license or be eligible to hold one
• Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships

• Have previous experience in delivering fantastic customer service

• Possess the ability to work under pressure
• Have an eye for detail
• Understand relevant health & safety, criminal laws and operations
