Job summary

WRK digital is seeking an experienced Security Solutions Architect to provide architectural leadership across a diverse technology estate. This hands-on role will ensure security is embedded by design while enabling rapid delivery and innovation.

You'll balance security, risk, operational resilience and business outcomes while guiding engineering, platform and cyber security teams through large-scale transformation programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in security architecture and strategy across Azure, data, integration, application and infrastructure domains.
• Ability to embed security principles and controls from solution design.
• Experience with threat modelling, security assessments and architectural risk reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures across Azure, data, integration, application and infrastructure domains.
• Embed security principles and controls into architecture from the earliest stages of solution design.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, patterns and reference architectures.
• Work across multiple technology platforms and business domains, ensuring consistency and alignment.
• Conduct threat modelling, security assessments and architectural risk reviews.
• Define security requirements and controls covering identity, access management, data protection, encryption and resilience.
• Partner with engineering teams to support successful delivery and implementation.
• Provide architecture governance, assurance and technical leadership across strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with cyber security, risk, compliance and operational teams.
• Influence technology direction and support the organisation's ongoing digital transformation journey.
