Solutions Expert – SecurityWe are seeking an experienced Security Solutions Expert to join our dynamic pre-sales team. In this role, you will design and implement cutting-edge security solutions to protect our clients’ IT infrastructure and data. You will collaborate across our internal security team and vendor network to further understand our client’s security requirements and develop tailored solutions that address their unique challenges.As a key member of our team, you will lead the design and implementation of innovative and scalable solutions, stay ahead of emerging threats, and provide expert guidance on security technologies and best practices. • Develop and design security solutions from endpoint to infrastructure that meet client needs, balancing both business objectives and security requirements.
• Engage with clients to understand their security concerns, offering expert advice on security frameworks, best practices, and technologies
• Identify potential security risks and propose effective measures to address vulnerabilities within IT systems.
• Work alongside account managers, engineers, project management, and other departments to deliver tailored security solutions for each client.
• Stay informed on emerging cyber threats, new security technologies, and industry regulations to provide cutting-edge security solutions.
• Proactively add and evaluate Bechtle’s Security product portfolio and complimenting services to stay in line with market trends
• Support the deployment and integration of security solutions from a consultative Pre-Sales perspective, ensuring smooth implementation within existing IT systems.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, encryption, and endpoint security.
• Experience with the following vendors would be advantageous – Microsoft, Crowdstrike, Sophos, SentinelOne, ESET, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Zscaler
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA preferred.
• Track record in delivering complex security solutions across mid-market sized clients
• Ability to identify security challenges and provide practical, innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
