Job Title: Security Solution Architect (Hardening /OT Networks)

Location: Sheffield, with 1-2 days onsite per month

Responsibilities:

• Securely integrate new technology capabilities into gas operations with robust security measures.
• Define and document security architecture blueprints, focusing on threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Establish security standards and best practices for cloud, physical, and operational technologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security controls into application design.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide guidance on security challenges.
• Stay updated on security frameworks like OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to new technologies.
• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Communicate risks and mitigation strategies to leadership.
• Promote security initiatives and foster team collaboration.

About You:

• Excellent communicator with strong writing skills, able to influence stakeholders.
• Passionate about emerging technologies and solutions.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles: authentication, encryption, network, and application security.
• Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven track record in designing and implementing security solutions for complex environments.
• Knowledge of ICS/SCADA/OT environments and standards like NIST, CIS, CAF.
• Strong relationship-building skills for collaboration across teams.
