Job Description:

Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. Grant Thornton’s Cyber Security team provides security, resilience and payments and involves providing assurance and advisory services to organisations to identify risks and assisting them in developing and implementing solutions.

The team consists of specialists who have worked in industry for a number of years and have gained experience through working in information security. The team is based throughout the country and work on behalf of one of our clients to assess adherence to security standards by the companies that operate within our customer’s supply chain.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK and requires travel.


A look into the role
As a Security Site Assessor within our Cyber Security practice, you will:

  • Carry out security assessment on behalf of one of our clients
  • Assess the standards of physical security and other compliance criteria, such as, information security, cyber security, business continuity, disaster recovery and GDPR
  • Develop positive relationship with the client to collect information about their third-party supply chain
  • Visit a variety of different types of businesses and premises to carry out assessments
  • Write reports based on the findings

Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as a Security Site Assessor, the minimum criteria you’ll need is an understanding of physical principals and technical cyber security principals, ability to travel to different locations across the UK and Undertake personal vetting to UK Government classification standards of SC level.
