Security Shift Leader

Location: Tyne and Wear, North East England, UK, NE35 9JB

Type: Permanent

Salary: £24,310 per annum plus £3,285.00 Contractual Overtime, £2,437 Shift Allowance & £1,563 Responsibility Allowance

Hours: 37 plus 5 COT = 42 hours, 1 FTE, Permanent.

Role Description

Newcastle College is looking for the right person who has the necessary knowledge and skills to work in a diverse environment in the Education sector. You will need to show you have the knowledge and professional aptitude within the security sector, excellent customer focused skills whilst leading a team of security officers. You should be conversant with all security operations including the operation of CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access controls.

The successful candidate will be working a 12 hour shift pattern that includes both Day shift & Night shift on a four on four off basis, 52 weeks per annum. You will also need to have a full driving licence as part of the role due to patrolling satellite sites.
