Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Security Service Engineer in Edinburgh. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager, the role involves servicing and maintaining Security Systems, access control, IP CCTV, and VMS Platforms for our prestigious Financial and Government clients.

The Role

• Service and maintain security systems, access control, IP CCTV, and VMS Platforms.
• Conduct reactive fault-finding visits and maintenance at client sites.
• Interpret specifications, drawings, and design standards to ensure installations meet client requirements and standards.
• Apply problem-solving skills to find solutions efficiently.
• Meet deadlines, including target times, first fix, and PMV dates.
• Communicate effectively with the service team and management regarding customer issues and site problems.
• Follow Health & Safety guidelines.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic reports promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Participate in the on-call service rota.
• Manage tasks within allocated timescales, demonstrating commercial awareness.

The Candidate

Requirements

• Experience servicing security alarm systems, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
• Experience in delivering inspections (PMV).
• Current qualifications or relevant experience in security alarm systems.
• Knowledge of Galaxy Intruder, IP CCTV, and Access Control systems.
• Pacom equipment knowledge is advantageous.
• Understanding of service delivery and current standards.
