Job summary

Student Loans Company is looking for a Security Manager – Security Risk to lead and shape security risk across major technology programmes in a blended work model. You will mentor a team of security professionals, provide risk-based guidance to project teams and senior stakeholders, and help embed security throughout transformation initiatives.

You will balance risk with business outcomes, drawing on experience with SPF, ISO 27001, CAF and SbD, while ensuring compliance and robust security

Qualifications

• Experience leading a diverse security team.
• Proven ability to analyse risk for complex systems.
• Ability to implement policies across a large organisation.
• Design and implement security controls aligned to business needs.
• Ability to present to senior stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Experience across cloud, application, infrastructure and networking security.
