Security Response Officer - Average 20 hours per week - Days & Nights

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Response Officer to work in Manchester supporting holiday cover, sickness, and additional duties. You must demonstrate high-quality guarding and customer service to clients and service users.

Requirements:

  • SIA licence required
  • Security and customer service experience
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and shift changes
  • Good command of English
  • Ability to stand and patrol for long periods, both indoors and outdoors
  • First Aid qualification and CCTV SIA licence are a bonus
  • Five years of checkable work history
  • Willingness to travel around London areas including Horsham, Potters Bar, and Crawley

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality guarding and customer service
  • Working independently and as part of a team
  • Remaining calm under pressure and handling confrontational situations professionally
  • Patrolling, reception duties, access control, and lock-ups
  • Writing incident and shift reports
  • Dealing with visitors and staff efficiently and courteously
  • Using Access Control and CCTV systems effectively
  • Responding appropriately during emergencies and escalations
