Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and implementing the product roadmap and lifecycle of services provided by third-party vendors and maintained by Security Operations, ensuring alignment with PIC’s business and strategic objectives;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendor partners, and technical teams to ensure products and services are effectively integrated into PIC’s environment;
- The “voice of the customer”, to guide vendor engagement and service evolution to ensure capabilities meet operational, security and compliance needs;
- Accountable for coordinating updates to relevant processes and procedures across both new and existing security products and services maintained by the Security Operations team;
- Provide support to the Head of Security Operations in coordinating vendor-related activities and supporting the planning and execution of key operational initiatives such as business continuity testing, audit readiness, and service reviews;
- Advise stakeholders on current and expected future development roadmap, new capabilities and related product initiatives;
- Support continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback, contributing to the maturity and effectiveness of the security operations function;
- Provide relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicator (KRIs) to the Head of Security Operations, the CISO and senior management;
- Serves as a key liaison between suppliers and internal teams;
- In the event of a security incident, act as a key stakeholder and coordinate response activity;

PIC operates within the financial services industry and, therefore, is regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and the PRA (Prudential Regulation Authority). It is a requirement for all PIC employees to demonstrate a good understanding of the regulatory framework and how it applies to the Company.
