Job summary

Scottish Water is seeking a Grade 7 Lead Protective Security Specialist to shape policy, strategy and incident response across the organisation and its partners.

You will lead security policy development, deliver awareness training, manage incident reporting, and advise on national security risks. The role requires SC clearance or the ability to obtain it, knowledge of security standards, and willingness to travel around Scotland. A competitive salary range applies.

Qualifications

• Experience with legislation and guidance relevant to the Scottish water sector.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills; assess incidents and recommend improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build relationships across levels.
• Knowledge of protective security standards and UK government guidelines; SC clearance or ability to obtain.
