Join PPUK! Be part of a fun, hardworking team that strives for excellence and values a great work-life balance. We are seeking a Security Operations Officer to enhance our IT security, contribute to exciting projects, and make a tangible impact.

You will monitor, manage, and remediate security threats and vulnerabilities, collaborating with the Global Security Officer/CISO, a managed SOC, the IT team, and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Security compliance monitoring & reporting (Microsoft Defender, Intune).
  2. Vulnerability management (Microsoft Defender, Qualys WAS/VM) & reporting.
  3. Security incident management & response.
  4. Support as a ServiceNow Security SME.
  5. Maintain security policies & procedures.
  6. Security assurance & risk management.
  7. Security awareness & training.

What you’ll bring:

  1. Strong IT & cybersecurity skills.
  2. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Qualys WAS/VM, Zscaler, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender Suite, Intune, Azure Sentinel.
  3. Understanding of security vulnerabilities & countermeasures.
  4. Knowledge of CTI feeds.
  5. Incident handling & security investigation skills.
  6. Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, NCSC, NVD, CVSS, CIS Controls.
  7. Experience with attack detection, IDS/IPS, SIEM, ATT&CK, firewalls, IAM, anti-virus, patch management, CASB, Azure.
  8. Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001.
  9. IT/Security degree or certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
  10. Azure certifications (AZ-500, MS-500, SC-200, SC-100).
